2026 Lenten United Thank Offering

This year, we are handing out UTO “little blue boxes” to all church members. Our Sunday School kids will have a little blue box in each classroom, too, and the class that raises the most for UTO will have a pizza or donut party.

There are also two jars in Engle Hall with Mtr. Kaity’s and Fr. Keith’s names on them. Throughout Lent, throw your spare change (or bills or checks) into the jars. The “winner” will be the target of a Silly String attack by all the kids on the Sunday after Easter, April 12th at 10:15.

What is UTO? UTO is a way to practice gratitude
and change the world! The United Thank Offering (UTO) was created in1889 for the support of innovative mission projects and to send missionaries and nurses wherever they are needed.

Where does the money go? Each year, UTO gives away 100% of the funds collected to support this ministry. In 2024 UTO awarded more than $1 million in the U.S. and around the world.

The UTO In-gathering is Palm Sunday, March 29th.
