Mark your calendars for two ways to celebrate Pride Month with St. Andrew’s and the Episcopal Diocese of Nebraska.
Rev. Michael Heller, a friend of Mother Kaity’s and curate at Church of the Resurrection, leads Queerly Beloved, a LGBTQ+ ministry in the Episcopal Diocese of Nebraska. This year, Queerly Beloved is again inviting folks to join them as they celebrate Pride in the Park, an outdoor Eucharist and picnic celebrating Pride on Saturday, June 27th from 11:30 AM-2:00 PM at Hanscom Park Pavillion, 3201 Woolworth Ave, Omaha, NE 68105. Bring a dish to share for the picnic after the Eucharist.
Omaha’s Pride Parade will be July 18, 2026 from 9:30-12 PM. St. Andrew’s will be marching with our St. Andrew’s banner as part of the Diocese of Nebraska’s official entry (and along with nearly 200 other churches, businesses, and civic/government organizations). Please let a member of the clergy know if you are joining us for the Pride Parade so we can coordinate on logistics as we get closer.
Details about the route and meet-up location are usually released much closer to the date of the parade. (Omaha always celebrates Pride in July because of the College World Series events downtown during June.)
