Maundy Thursday Worship

Our worship for Maundy Thursday, April 2nd, is at 7 PM. This is the night Jesus’ established the institution of the Eucharist in the Upper Room, washing his disciples feet and saying, “By this, they will know that you are my disciples–that you love one another.” The service ends with the stripping of the altar and all the church decorations as we prepare for the solemn worship of Good Friday.

After the Last Supper, Jesus took his disciples to the Garden and asked them to watch and pray with him. To join our overnight prayer vigil in the chapel, call the church office to sign up for an hour between 8 PM Thursday and Noon on Good Friday.
