Summer Music Jam Concerts 2026

Bring your family, friends, and neighbors again this summer for our music jam concerts! June, July, and August on the second Saturdas at 6 PM.

These concerts on the east lawn are in the shade and they’re a joyful time of fellowship. You are welcome to bring a picnic or snacks, and children can play on the playground.

This summer’s concert lineup

June 13th Mariachi Zapata

Mariachi Zapata has been nominated for four Omaha Entertainment and Arts Awards, and has won the award for Best World Music. This Mother’s Day, Mariachi Zapata celebrated their 37th year as a group, and they are still going strong. “Music lets you perfectly unify any lives that participate,” Alex Schmer (bass player) says of the mariachi tradition. In Mariachi Zapata, that reaches past many boundaries, bringing generations together.

July 11th Camille Metoyer Moten & Friends – Jazz & R&B

Camille is a recipient of the Nebraska Musicians Hall of Fame award and also the Omaha Black Musicians Hall of Fame Award. Her versatility is well known from musical theater to jazz and pop. The Camille Metoyer Moten Jazz and Pop Quintet will bring music to life in cabaret or concert style. Well-known songs coupled with new songs will delight all ages. Songs made popular by artists such as Billie Holiday, Judy Garland, Barbra Streisand, Lena Horne, Etta James and more recent artists are in the repertoire.

Aug 8th Tom Phillips Band – Classic Rock Hits

Come, rock, and sing along with your favorite class rock hits. Special opening act, The Gotta Be Me Heartlight Choir, will be back again this year for this concert!

The Tom Phillips Band is known for its lively shows that cover classic rock, pop, and blues, making regular appearances at area outdoor summer concert series and venues. (And Tom is the lead guitarist at our 9 AM worship service!)

These concerts are made possible in collaboration with St. Andrew’s, Omaha Musicians AFM Local 70-558, and the Music Performance Trust Fund.
